Leadership and the Differences Between Potential and Performance

Dr. Vince Eugenio / Senior Director of Talent and Organizational Development, The Weather Channel

Dr. Vince Eugenio is a seasoned HR professional with over 24 years of experience at organizations such as AT&T, Bank of America, Randstad, Cardinal Health, Iron Mountain, and now at the Weather Channel Companies where he leads Talent Development.  He has held Director, VP, SVP and Chief Learning Officer titles.  His responsibilities have included operations, sales, and management training, talent management strategy development, learning technology, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.

In his first six weeks at The Weather Channel Companies, Vince is currently partnering with the EVP of HR on HR strategy, sales onboarding, talent reviews, competency development, culture, performance management and executive development.

He received his BS in Secondary Education from the State University of New York at Oswego, his MS and his PhD in Instructional Technology from Georgia State University.

Virginia attended the Wharton HR Business School. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and is an accredited administrator of the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory for Emotional Intelligence, a 360° feedback tool. She is a certified mediator and Senior Professional in Human Resources.
