Richard (Dick) Teters / The Center for Accountable Leaders

Dick retired from the US Army in 1998, after a 30 year active duty career. His Army career was about evenly divided into mini‐careers as an Armored Cavalry officer, Finance and Accounting officer, and a Recruiting officer. His last assignment was as the Chief of Staff, US Army Recruiting Command.
Upon retiring from the Army he became a professor of business at Kennesaw State University. Although his teaching interests are broad, he tends to concentrate on entrepreneurship, managing small enterprises, and business and economic history. Dick’s research interests are in entrepreneurial leadership and economic history. He is currently developing two courses in economic history. His primary research is vested in The Center for Accountable Leaders (TCAL), where he is recording and archiving the video‐memoirs of proven military and business leaders. TCAL has set a Napoleon Hill goal to record the life experiences of 500 leaders.
Dick was raised in the oil fields of Saudi Arabia since the age of four, and he’s traveled and worked all over the world. He maintains personal and business contacts around the world. He has played major roles in three high tech start up companies and conducted due diligence analysis for over 400 high technologies.
